Original Prints
The printing techniques used for these images are primarily intaglio and collagraph. Many are multiple plates and multiple runs through an etching press for each image. Many are one of a kind prints, or small editions printed by the artist individually. Even though in an edition, some prints will have unique character. Most of the paintings are giclee editions of original oil paintings. The originals are plein air, meaning painted on site in the tradition of the French Impressionists. Editions are small, often with embellishment and hand signed by the artist. A certificate of authenticity accompanies each print assuring the number of prints in the edition, signed by the artist and printer. The archival ink and quality printing paper and canvas is coated with a uv protective coating.
